At the end of the day it really is to each their own. I'm not going to follow someone out of a sense of obligation if I don't enjoy what they tweet. I don't care about my numbers, or score, or reach or whatever. I network on Twitter the same way I network in real life, if the person isn't interesting I don't engage. I've been called elitist, mostly I'm ok with that if it means that I don't have to put up with people that drive me batty.

It's been a while since I have stopped in to read you blog. Was just catching up on the new things for you and popped onto this one. Nice to see that something still don't change I guess...Still ranting on your twitter followers :)
It's ok though, you did teach me a thing or two. And while I am still perhaps not worthy of your follow due to the high RT and group @ reply messages I make. I am still there, tweeting my own thoughts in the middle of them all.
Hope you are doing well and glad to see you are running too. ( I am up to a 13min mile now but that is pushing it for me, getting faster, getting stronger)

Not saying there's anything wrong with chilling in front of the couch on a week night or whatever. But too often hours and hours go by. Other things that can be done after a long day of work are: reading, writing, knitting, good ol'fashioned game of cards, how about just a chat over a cup of coffee? My biggest is wasting the weekend. Having the whole day on Saturday and doing absolutely nothing productive with it.

I got the umph in the mornings by starting to go to bed at a decent hour (as much as I can) and recognizing what I need. I force myself out of bed and into my run, no sitting down between just GO! By the time I get home I'm already kinda pumped from working out, after my shower I make coffee and while that brewing I make breakfast and lunch and pull out anything needed from the freezer. Once all that is done I take my coffee and sit at my computer for 30 min or so checking emails, blogs, etc. Having that productive start to the day makes it hard to be sloth-like for the rest!

Too true!

I think thats a big one for me as well. Every night we sit on the couches and watch tv instead of doing something, but so often by the time I'm home I'm too tired.

So how do you get that umph in the mornings? cause mine is missing!

I find that even when I'm kinda upset about stuff, focusing on my friends and encouraging them really helps. And I'm real glad I met you too ^^

Great post! I also am trying to show my closest friends more appreciation. I'm especially glad to have connected with you and a few others over the course of the last few months.
